Lesson 5, #1, Which of the techniques for generating ideas for essays has been most valuable to you? Why? Give an example from the writing you have done so far.

I love idea mapping, clustering, and freewriting to start a brainstorm. I enjoy creating clustering on my laptop with a bit of patience. I can see where my idea started forming from the clustering and I can figure out which statement is good to focus on. I can also compare it with idea mapping which I do as well as a list chart or a circle with branches of ideas. I enjoy submitting a lot of lists to see which matches other lists. I like to start freewriting to get a lot of ideas to start the idea mapping and clustering. I noticed that freewriting helps me break my writer’s block and just simply let my thoughts roam freely with new ideas or questions that I might want to explore.
